the Ideal Hymn for the Ascension

"Alleluia, Sing to Jesus" is the Communion Hymn par excellence for the Ascension. It speaks to the joy of the Ascension and how Jesus still remains with us in the Holy Eucharist. Unfortunately, OCP excised any Eucharistic references in the hymn and suggests it as a processional. Composer William Dix meant for this hymn to be used for Holy Communion. The late Richard Proulx did the arrangement.
